Corporate events in Uganda

Kampala and Speke Munyonyo hold boards and conferences; the forest is the accompanying programme. Entebbe is the airport. Do not put 400 people on a Bwindi trail.

Request a proposal · typically a same-week outline for complete briefs · talk to an expert

Can we run conferences and corporate events in Uganda?

Speke Munyonyo is the house when the list is a conference, not a 12-person board. Lake Victoria Serena for lake-and-golf events. Yellow fever often required — collect with passports.

Power and wifi at forest lodges are not Nairobi. Set AV expectations in the proposal.

Constraints

What we will not do

  • Plenary in a rainforest camp.
  • A trek on landing day.
  • Kampala–Entebbe twice in a day without a reason.

Access

How groups arrive

Scheduled and charter flights to Kihihi, Kisoro, Kasese and Kidepo save punishing road days. We still use the road when the scenery is the point (crater lakes) and the group is not time-poor. Helicopter is available for buy-out groups.

EBB

Entebbe International

Only practical international gateway; 40–90 minutes to Kampala hotels, traffic dependent; 25–40 minutes to Speke Munyonyo and Lake Victoria Serena

Questions planners ask about corporate events in Uganda

Can Uganda host a dealer conference?

In Kampala or at Speke Munyonyo, yes. Bwindi is a VIP overlay after, split by lodge and permit.

Where do we put 150 delegates in Uganda?

Munyonyo or a Kampala five-star with banquet. Not Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge.

Is Entebbe a conference city?

It is the gateway. Use it for late arrivals and lake hotels. The meeting city is Kampala unless the brief never leaves the water.

Do we need yellow fever certificates for Uganda?

Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda and Zanzibar require a yellow fever vaccination certificate upon arrival. We collect it with passports on the rooming list — do not leave it to the airport queue.
