It is more ‘resort MICE’ than Seychelles, and that is a strength: AV teams, DMC coaches, spa capacity, and kids’ clubs if the brief is mixed. Le Morne adds a UNESCO landscape and a wind that kite-surfers understand.
We run Mauritius standalone, or as the ocean chapter after Kenya or Tanzania for groups that need more hotel inventory than Zanzibar can honestly give.

Seasons planners actually use
May–June and September–November are the professional sweet spots. July–August and Christmas are peak rates.
Incentives: Book One&Only, Four Seasons and St. Regis 12 months out for groups over 40 rooms. Shoulder months still look like the brochure.
Meetings: Year-round. Summer needs stronger indoor AV and air-con planning. Winter is the outdoor-gala season.

Mauritius for planners
Is Mauritius too ‘resort’ for a discerning incentive?
Not if we choose One&Only, Four Seasons Anahita, St. Regis Le Morne, Prince Maurice or Royal Palm and keep the programme un-crowded. Hilton, Maritim and Le Méridien are the scale houses. The island can be ordinary; the DMC’s job is to make sure it is not.
Can we combine Mauritius with safari?
Yes: Kenya or Tanzania first, Mauritius last. Build a full travel day. Do not safari-depart and gala the same night.
When is the best time to take an incentive group to Mauritius?
May–June and September–November are the professional sweet spots. July–August and Christmas are peak rates.
