Wildebeest crossing a river during the Great Migration

Tanzania · 3–4 nights in the north, July–October

Great Migration river crossing

Positioned at Kogatende or a northern concession for the Mara River — the most requested safari theatre in East Africa, with a brief that crossings are never guaranteed.

How we run it

We do not sell crossings as a certainty. We sell positioning, guiding, spare vehicles, and a client letter that tells the truth: the herds move, the crocodiles wait, and the memory is the waiting as much as the minute of dust.

For MICE groups we split convoys so 40 people are not 12 cars on one bank. A balloon morning for a VIP subset is the usual upgrade. The Kenya Mara can hold the same story when the diary is tight and Nairobi is the hub — we will say which bank the herds are actually using when the RFP lands.

This is an incentive and photography product, not a conference. Plenary, exhibition and complex AV stay in Arusha or Nairobi. The river is for the group that came for the photograph that cannot be bought in Europe or the Gulf.

What is included

  • Northern Serengeti or Mara River positioning with a written weather-and-herd caveat
  • Split-vehicle plan so the group is not one convoy on a single bank
  • Guide briefing and a client letter that crossings are never sold as a certainty
  • Optional balloon morning for a VIP subset, with a ground alternative if weather aborts

What we will not do

  • River crossings are never guaranteed and will not appear as a contractual deliverable.
  • Groups above ~40 need split camps or staggered game drives — not one tented village.
  • We will not put a 200-delegate plenary on the river.
