Kibale chimpanzee tracking
East Africa’s most reliable chimpanzee encounter — a lighter physical day than Bwindi, and a primate story that photographs differently from gorillas.
How we run it
We use Kibale when the group wants two primate mornings without two brutal walks, or when Queen Elizabeth is already on the map and the gorge chimps need a surer cousin.
It is still a forest product: boots, quiet, and a briefing that chimps move. Pair with a crater-lake night or a Queen Elizabeth savanna chapter, not a same-day Entebbe departure after a 05:00 start.
What is included
- — Tracking permits and a guide team used to corporate groups
- — A lighter physical brief than Bwindi, still with honest forest time
- — Lodge or safari camp on the western circuit, not a day-trip from Kampala for jet-lagged guests
What we will not do
- — Not a gorilla substitute. Different animal, different photograph, different permit.
- — We will not run Kibale as a same-day in-and-out from Entebbe for long-haul groups.
