Kenya conservancy camp — walking, rhino country and low-density incentive nights

Kenya · 2 nights

Laikipia conservancy

Laikipia’s conservancies — walking, horses, night skies, rhino — for smaller, high-value groups who want fewer vehicles than the Mara main reserve.

How we run it

This is Kenya’s quiet north. We match camp to walking ability and to whether the brief is rhino, horses or a board table under canvas. Density is the point. A 40-person incentive belongs in the Mara or at Mount Kenya Safari Club, not here.

Nairobi–Nanyuki is the usual air or road. We do not stack Laikipia, Mara and Amboseli in six nights.

What is included

  • Conservancy camp briefed for walking and night activity where rules allow
  • Fitness notes collected for horse and walk options
  • A rhino or night-sky chapter written as luck-plus-positioning, not a guarantee of every species

What we will not do

  • Director groups of 8–24. Not a mass awards camp.
  • We will not pretend a ten-bed conservancy holds a dealer plenary.

Planner questions

Who is Laikipia conservancy for?

8–24 director-level; walking, horses, rhino, low guest density

When should we run Laikipia conservancy?

Year-round walking in the dry months is kinder. We do not sell a 60-person dealer trip into a ten-bed camp. Lead time: 10–14 months for walking camps and rhino conservancies. Duration on the ground: 2 nights.

How do we add Laikipia conservancy to a Kenya MICE programme?

Laikipia’s conservancies — walking, horses, night skies, rhino — for smaller, high-value groups who want fewer vehicles than the Mara main reserve. Send company, group size and dates to sales@serengetiexperience.com or use https://www.serengetiexperience.com/rfp — we confirm permits, vehicles and the operations annex on the proposal.
