Who is Sunset cruise for?
16–120 with split dhows or a catamaran

Zanzibar · 2–3 hours, timed to the light
The money shot of a Zanzibar incentive: a private dhow or catamaran at the hour the light goes copper, with a safety skipper and a second boat if the group is large.
This is the evening-only product. Dinner can stay on shore or move to a catamaran dinner cruise if the brief wants a table on the water. Mixing sunset drinks and a full plated dinner on a listing dhow is how the photograph beats the guest experience.
Nungwi and Kendwa are the geography. Large groups need two dhows. We do not sail on the night of a JRO–ZNZ hop.

Outside the long rains is the professional window. Wind cancels the silhouette — beach sundowner backup is in the brief. Lead time: 8–12 months for private dhows in peak incentive months. Duration on the ground: 2–3 hours, timed to the light.

Sample programmes

6 nights · 7-day outline
Kilimanjaro arrival, Serengeti or Ngorongoro, then a Zanzibar finale. The classic East Africa incentive arc: bush, then Indian Ocean recovery. Three beach nights is the professional minimum after safari.
16–80 qualifiers (split camps if over ~40)

6 nights · 7-day outline
Mara conservancy, then a full travel day to ZNZ — not a gala on the hop. Three beach nights is the professional minimum after dust. Spice and dhow on a non-arrival afternoon.
16–80 (split Mara camps)

6 nights (9 with optional Zanzibar extension) · 11-day outline
An Arusha working morning for slide-heavy content, then a Fort Ikoma hop to Mapito Safari Camp for a camp buy-out: butler service, all-inclusive private game drives, Boma dining and a closed leadership table in the two-bedroom villa. Optional three-night Kilindi Zanzibar extension on the north-west coast — fifteen pavilion suites with private plunge pools and dedicated butlers, matched to the same 8–16 leadership scale. Built for corporate travel buyers who want Marriott Bonvoy alignment and western Serengeti wildlife, with Indian Ocean recovery that is not a 200-room resort.
