Ethiopia is the incentive no safari circuit can copy: Lalibela’s rock-hewn churches, Simien geladas, origin coffee. Addis gathers a worldwide list. It is not a Great Migration substitute.

October–January is the highland default. Internal ADD–Lalibela flights are the constraint, not only rooms. Churches are not a 100-person auditorium — we split groups.
Danakil is 8–12 screened VIP with a written risk annex, or we say no. Omo Valley is not a qualifier mass.

Constraints
Access
Scheduled domestic flights (Ethiopian Airlines) link ADD to Lalibela, Gondar, Bahir Dar, Dire Dawa and other towns. We do not drive Addis–Lalibela with a jet-lagged incentive group. Simien is road from Gondar (about 2.5–3.5 hours) or a mix of air plus road. Helicopters can be arranged for ultra-high-end groups when weather allows.

Altitude first: a quiet Addis night, a working morning or origin coffee, then Lalibela’s rock-hewn churches and a Simien escarpment chapter at Limalimo. We fly domestic sectors. We do not drive Addis–Lalibela with a jet-lagged group, and we never walk Simien on landing day.

Addis recovery, Lalibela (or Lalibela plus one Simien night if fitness allows), then a full travel day to Mauritius for four lagoon nights. Do not gala on the night you fly ADD–MRU. Seychelles can replace Mauritius when the rooming list is smaller and the brief is granite, not golf.

Executive retreats in EthiopiaYes, if the brief is highlands, history and coffee. Groups who want the Great Migration still belong in Tanzania or Kenya. Ethiopia is the trip after that, or instead of it.
We can fly and hotel 80 in waves. We will not put 80 people into one church at once.
Addis is one of the few African hubs where that list can actually meet. Still treat it as a 6–8 night trip from the Americas, not a long weekend.
