Executive retreats

Leadership retreats that still leave room to think.

This page is about executive and EXCO off-sites of 8–24 people: a working room, a destination worth the flight, and a programme that does not fill every hour. Built for corporate event managers and travel buyers in South Africa, Europe, the USA, Canada and Latin America.

What is included

Venue or lodge buy-out where scale allows, transfers, a tested meeting set-up, dietary, and a parallel option for anyone who should not trek or balloon. Medical evacuation is contracted before arrival.

Typical group sizes

8–16 is the sweet spot for Singita, Bisate, Mnemba, Mapito Serengeti Camp and most conservancy camps. Up to 24 with a split or a larger lodge such as Four Seasons Serengeti or Hemingways plus Mara.

Outcomes

One complete working session, one peak experience, and a group that is not exhausted on the last morning. That is the brief we write back.

Each page answers the planner search: venues, group size, lead time, and what we will not do in that country.

Retreat planning questions

How far in advance should we plan a corporate retreat in Kenya or Tanzania?

Six to twelve months is typical for an executive retreat of 8–24 people. Twelve to eighteen months if you need July–October migration lodges or Rwanda gorilla permits.

Can we run a full board agenda in a safari camp?

A closed board of twelve, yes — with an honest wifi note. A three-day slide-heavy agenda belongs in Nairobi, Arusha or a Mauritius resort. We will say which.
