Executive retreats across East Africa and the Indian Ocean are an offsite file: reflection, leadership alignment and designed downtime in a place that can actually hold a closed table. A closed leadership table in a Kenya or Tanzania camp that has room to think — not a six-tent campus for a dealer list. Typical groups are 8–16 in most camps; up to 24 with a split or a larger lodge. This is still a retreat, not an incentive safari file.
One city night so long-haul groups sleep, then a compact forest or highland chapter. Kigali–Volcanoes and Kampala–Bwindi live on their country pages. The environment is part of the brief, not a photo call after a three-day slide deck.
A working morning and afternoon space on Zanzibar, Seychelles or Mauritius — at a house that matches an 8–24 list. Scale differs. A Mahé or Stone Town table is not a Mauritius banquet. Use the island when the offsite is the reason.
What we coordinate
A retreats DMC holds the destination annex: a lodge or house that matches the list, rooming, internal air, transfers, an honest connectivity note, a parallel option for anyone who should not trek or balloon, and a named operations desk. Medical evacuation is contracted before arrival. International long-haul usually stays with the agency or travel manager.

Six to twelve months is typical for 8–24 people. Twelve to eighteen months if you need July–October migration lodges or gorilla permits. Country pages hold the destination note.
