Uganda’s gorilla morning — sector-matched to fitness (Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga, Nkuringo) and lodged at Clouds, Sanctuary or Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge.

How we run it

Uganda lets us build savanna around the forest. The trek is still the peak; Queen Elizabeth or Kidepo is how the programme becomes more than a single permit.

Sectors are matched to fitness, not to the photograph on the website. Nkuringo is not a casual walk. We collect that before UWA paperwork.

Entebbe is the gateway; Kampala can hold a board morning. We do not ask a long-haul group to trek the afternoon they land.

— Lodge cluster at Clouds, Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp, Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge or a contracted peer
— Porters and a walk-time range written into the guest brief

What we will not do

— Fitness is declared before permits. We will not surprise a guest with a six-hour steep trek.
— Large groups split lodges and families.

Kibale chimpanzees and Queen Elizabeth

Entebbe night, Kibale chimp tracking, then Kyambura or Ishasha. Lighter walking than Bwindi, a boat on the Kazinga, tree-climbing lions if luck holds. The Uganda itinerary when gorilla permits are not the centrepiece.
