Experiences
68 moments that can sit inside a corporate programme: what happens, why it matters, who it suits, the objective it supports, and what we manage. Use them as possibility. We write the operations around your brief.

3–4 nights in the north, July–October
Positioned at Kogatende or a northern concession for the Mara River — the most requested safari theatre in East Africa, with a brief that crossings are never guaranteed.
Tanzania destination →
Sunrise morning
A champagne breakfast in the plains after a dawn flight — the single most reliable ‘I cannot believe they did this’ moment on a Tanzania incentive.
Tanzania destination →
Full day
A UNESCO caldera with the highest wildlife density most guests will ever see — executed with descent windows, picnic permits, and no cattle-convoy feeling.
Tanzania destination →
7–9 days on the mountain
Uhuru Peak at 5,895 m from Moshi: 8-day Lemosho or 8–9 day Northern Circuit, KINAPA as a logistics line, and a hotel night that is not a mess tent. We do not sell a 5-day Marangu as the corporate product.
Tanzania destination →
1 night, or a full day from Arusha
Elephant country and monumental baobabs — the first or last safari night when Arusha–Serengeti air is tight, or a lighter chapter for jet-lagged groups landing at Kilimanjaro.
Tanzania destination →
Half day
Coffee estate, a measured look at a working East African city, Cultural Heritage only if the brief wants it — the meetings-first morning before safari, or the recovery loop after Kilimanjaro.
Tanzania destination →
Half day, between Arusha and Ngorongoro
A compact Rift park — groundwater forest, hippo pools, escarpment views — used as a timed add-on between Arusha and Ngorongoro, not as the headline safari.
Tanzania destination →
Full day from Moshi
Materuni waterfall, Chagga coffee, Chemka hot springs or a forest-gate walk that stops where the mountain starts — the twin track for non-climbers, spouses, or a one-night Kilimanjaro photograph without a week on the hill.
Tanzania destination →
Evening
A fireside or lantern dinner on the plains, with a tented backup and an honest weather call. The awards night that belongs in camp — not on the night the group landed from Kilimanjaro.
Tanzania destination →
2–3 nights
Conservancy rules (walking, night drives) plus a sunrise balloon — Kenya’s most complete incentive wildlife chapter when time is short.
Kenya destination →
1 night city + 2–3 nights Mara
A working session at Hemingways or a Nairobi five-star, then Wilson to the Mara — the itinerary that makes Kenya the most efficient East Africa MICE country.
Kenya destination →
2–3 nights
Kenya’s Kilimanjaro-and-elephant chapter: a short Wilson hop, big-tusk herds on the pans, and lodges from Angama Amboseli and Tortilis through Serena when the list needs more beds.
Kenya destination →
Half day, built around the Sheldrick 11:00 window when included
Wildlife against the Nairobi skyline: National Park, Giraffe Centre, and — when the brief is conservation — David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Arrival padding, departure padding, or a CSR morning that is actually booked.
Kenya destination →
1–2 nights
Historic club atmosphere, golf, gardens and meeting rooms between Nairobi and the north — a board or incentive venue that is less wild than the Mara, on purpose.
Kenya destination →
2 nights
Laikipia’s conservancies — walking, horses, night skies, rhino — for smaller, high-value groups who want fewer vehicles than the Mara main reserve.
Kenya destination →
Evening
Lanterns, a conservancy site, Maasai or camp musicians only if the brief asks — the Mara awards night with a weather tent and no landing-night gala.
Kenya destination →
2–3 hours
A contracted community visit on conservancy terms — interpretation, a fee we can explain in the proposal, no forced dancing for cameras. Optional. Never the only Mara morning.
Kenya destination →
2–3 nights after safari or a Nairobi meeting
Kenya’s Indian Ocean finale when the brief stays in one country: Diani or Mombasa after the Mara or a Nairobi board — dhow, reef, a beach gala the hotel has run before.
Kenya destination →
Full day from the lodge
The centrepiece of Rwanda: permits first, fitness honestly collected, One&Only or Singita as the bed, and a parallel morning for anyone who should not trek.
Rwanda destination →
1–2 nights
Rainforest Rwanda: colobus, canopy walkway, chimpanzee tracking, tea-estate light at One&Only Nyungwe House.
Rwanda destination →
Half day from a Volcanoes lodge
Volcanoes’ golden monkeys in the bamboo — shorter than a gorilla trek, still a permit, still fitness. The companion morning for guests who should not do a six-hour gorilla walk, or a second forest day for the full list.
Rwanda destination →
Half day
Kigali Genocide Memorial at Gisozi, handled with care: a professional guide, no forced emotion, a private rather than public visit when the group is a leadership team. Optional. Some clients ask; some do not.
Rwanda destination →
1–2 nights
Rwanda’s savanna: lion, rhino, lakes — the Big Five chapter so a gorilla programme is not only forest. Wilderness Magashi is the camp we brief first. About three hours from Kigali.
Rwanda destination →
1–2 nights
The lake after the forest: boat, coffee islands, a still night in Rubavu or Karongi. Recovery geography when the brief has gorillas and still needs a down day before the airport.
Rwanda destination →
Full day
Uganda’s gorilla morning — sector-matched to fitness (Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga, Nkuringo) and lodged at Clouds, Sanctuary or Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge.
Uganda destination →
Half or full day
East Africa’s most reliable chimpanzee encounter — a lighter physical day than Bwindi, and a primate story that photographs differently from gorillas.
Uganda destination →
Day trip from Kampala/Entebbe
River, history, and optional adventure — a contrast day that reminds the group they are in the Pearl of Africa, not only in a forest permit queue.
Uganda destination →
1–2 nights city + gorilla or savanna chapter
A working session at Kampala Serena or Speke Resort Munyonyo, then a scheduled flight west — the Uganda version of Nairobi-plus-bush.
Uganda destination →
2 nights
Uganda’s savanna counterweight to the forest: Kazinga Channel boat, Ishasha’s tree-climbing lions when luck holds, Kyambura gorge chimps as a lighter primate morning than Bwindi.
Uganda destination →
2–3 nights
Remote, dry, spectacular. The Uganda chapter groups remember as emptiness rather than crowds. Worth it for the right brief; we will say no when the diary or the budget is a day-return fantasy.
Uganda destination →
Full day + evening
The Swahili incentive day: a private spice farm, a short Stone Town walk, and a private dhow at the hour the light goes copper.
Zanzibar destination →
Half day
The reef off the north-east — turtles, coral, and water that resets a safari group. Lodge buy-out on Mnemba Island for twelve; atoll access more broadly.
Zanzibar destination →
2–3 hours including briefing
A helmet walk on the seabed off the north or east coast — the photograph of walking underwater without being a diver. Briefed, weighted, and run in small waves, not as a queue on a pontoon.
Zanzibar destination →
Half day, usually a late morning into lunch
Hands-on Swahili cooking — spices, coconut, seafood — in a private kitchen or hotel school, then the group eats what they cooked. Market colour without the souvenir gauntlet.
Zanzibar destination →
Half day
A private spice farm — clove, cinnamon, vanilla, tasting — without the gauntlet of carved-spoon stalls. The scent is the product. The shop is optional and at the end, if at all.
Zanzibar destination →
Evening, typically 4–5 hours
Exclusive-use catamaran, a still-water dinner, and a return after dark with a skipper who has done corporate groups before. Not a party barge unless the brief asks for one.
Zanzibar destination →
Full day
The Zanzibar sandbank day — clear water, a picnic on a bank that appears with the tide, snorkel for those who swim, and a boat-level morning for those who do not.
Zanzibar destination →
Half day, about 2.5 hours walking
UNESCO Stone Town on foot: palaces, the Old Fort, Darajani as colour not a shopping brief, rooftop coffee. Freddie Mercury House only if the group asks. Heat is real; we keep it to two and a half hours.
Zanzibar destination →
Half day from Stone Town
Changuu — Prison Island — a short crossing from Stone Town: giant tortoises, a reef snorkel for those who swim, and a history brief that is not a haunted-house script.
Zanzibar destination →
1–2 hours, usually late afternoon at the hotel
A shaded henna session at the hotel — Swahili patterns, opt-in, no pressure on guests who do not want skin art. A content hour for accompanying persons, not the centrepiece of the incentive.
Zanzibar destination →
Evening gala, typically 4–5 hours with backup
A white-dress beach gala after safari: lighting, a dinner the hotel banquet team has run, and a tide-and-wind plan. Indoor backup exists. We do not gala on the night the group lands from the bush.
Zanzibar destination →
1–2 hours, usually a morning slot
Guided jet ski time off a coast that actually permits it — opt-in, insurance-briefed, with a safety ski in the water. Not the whole incentive, and not for a board that did not tick the box.
Zanzibar destination →
2–3 hours
A glass-bottom boat over reef or lagoon so non-swimmers still see the water. The honest marine morning for mixed-ability incentive lists.
Zanzibar destination →
2–3 hours, timed to the light
The money shot of a Zanzibar incentive: a private dhow or catamaran at the hour the light goes copper, with a safety skipper and a second boat if the group is large.
Zanzibar destination →
Half or full day
Charter sport fishing off Zanzibar — opt-in, licensed skipper, catch-and-release where the brief and local rules ask for it. Not the whole group, and not a guaranteed marlin.
Zanzibar destination →
Half or full day; two-tank mornings are the corporate default
Two-tank diving from a north-east or Nungwi centre — PADI-certified guests only, with a boat-level or snorkel twin for everyone else. Mnemba waters are the usual theatre; certification is collected before we book the deck.
Zanzibar destination →
Half day
A boat morning around the Mnemba atoll — snorkel, turtles, conservation briefing — from a north-east coast hotel. The island lodge is a different, much smaller product. We will not pretend a 40-person incentive is staying on Mnemba.
Zanzibar destination →
Half day
Red colobus and a mangrove boardwalk — the biodiversity morning for groups that care about more than the sand. A light CSR beat when the partner is contracted, not a donation slide.
Zanzibar destination →
Full day
Coco-de-mer forest at opening hour, then Anse Source d’Argent when the granite is still a private set. The inner-islands photograph that sells the destination.
Seychelles destination →
3–5 nights
North Island, Fregate or Platte as the company’s island — the rare incentive that still feels undisclosed.
Seychelles destination →
Full day, or a transfer day between islands
Private yacht or helicopter between Mahé, Praslin and quieter coves — the ‘we chartered the ocean’ moment. Weather and swell plans are in the ops manual, not invented on the quay.
Seychelles destination →
Half day after SEZ immigration
Victoria market, Mission Lodge, tea factory — used lightly after a long-haul, never as a shopping gauntlet. The stretch-the-legs morning before the granite beach does the real work.
Seychelles destination →
Half day
Hands-on Creole cooking — grilled fish, coconut, spices — then the group eats. A content morning for inner-island incentives that should not be only beach.
Seychelles destination →
Half day from Praslin, or a stay on Fregate
Aldabra giant tortoises in the wild — Curieuse National Park from Praslin, or Fregate if the brief is already a private island. Conservation, not a petting zoo, and not a substitute for Vallée de Mai.
Seychelles destination →
Full day + evening
Exclusive-use catamarans, a still-lagoon lunch, and a hotel gala that has seen a thousand incentives — executed so it does not feel like it.
Mauritius destination →
Two contrasting days
Championship holes at Four Seasons Anahita or peers, then the UNESCO mountain on the south-west — so the incentive is not only a shotgun start.
Mauritius destination →
Full day from the east coast
The classic east-coast islet day, executed so it is not a cattle boat: exclusive beach, a proper lunch, snorkel for those who swim. We skip it if the hotel already has a better house reef.
Mauritius destination →
Half or full day in the north
Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden, a sugar-estate museum, rum tasting with an origin-and-labour brief — the content day for people who do not want another beach.
Mauritius destination →
Full day
Chamarel’s coloured earth, a waterfall viewpoint, a rum house, and the UNESCO mountain in the same geography as Le Morne — a different Mauritius from the still east-coast lagoon.
Mauritius destination →
Evening, or a half-day cook-and-dine
A chef’s table — Creole, Indo-Mauritian, Chinese and French layers — with Sega only if the brief asks and the musicians are contracted, not a default buffet parade.
Mauritius destination →
Half day, south-east coast
Protected lagoon snorkel and glass-bottom — the marine morning when Île aux Cerfs would be a cattle boat, or when the contracted hotel reef is ordinary. South-east geography; not a west-coast add-on without a transfer.
Mauritius destination →
2 nights from Addis
UNESCO churches carved from living rock — Ethiopia’s most requested incentive centrepiece, run with modest-dress briefs and no liturgy-as-theatre.
Ethiopia destination →
2–3 nights
UNESCO escarpments, gelada troops and air that reminds you Addis was already high. Limalimo Lodge is the usual bed. Fitness and cardiac notes are collected with passports.
Ethiopia destination →
1–2 nights in the capital
A working session in a five-star that can actually hold AV, then a coffee tasting with an origin brief — the Ethiopia chapter that belongs before Lalibela, not instead of sleep.
Ethiopia destination →
Half day, 3–4 hours after a long-haul night
National Museum (Lucy cast), a serious coffee tasting, Entoto views when the group has slept — arrival padding that is not a six-hour souvenir loop or a second working session.
Ethiopia destination →
1–2 nights
Volcanic crater lakes an hour from Bole — still water, a table, AV that works. Leadership retreats and post-conference nights that do not require a highland airstrip.
Ethiopia destination →
1–2 nights from Bahir Dar
Boat to island monasteries, then Blue Nile Falls when the water is actually falling — a gentler historic-north chapter than Simien walking, or a middle night between Addis and Lalibela.
Ethiopia destination →
3–4 days, specialist only
Salt, sulphur, Dallol, Erta Ale — one of the hottest inhabited places on earth. We run this for tiny, fit lists with a medical and security annex — or we say no.
Ethiopia destination →
