How we run it

Akagera was restocked; it is now the country’s game-drive photograph. We add it when the night count allows the group to arrive as guests, not as a day-trip from a gorilla lodge. Lake Ihema boats are a second beat.

This is how we keep gorilla + savanna inside one country. Tanzania and Kenya are not required for a ‘safari’ sentence — if the diary is honest.

What is included

  • — Magashi or a contracted Akagera camp, not a Kigali day-return
  • — Game drives and optional Lake Ihema boat
  • — A night count that does not steal the gorilla recovery day

What we will not do

  • — Not a Serengeti. Different scale, different density.
  • — We will not day-trip Akagera from Volcanoes and call it a safari chapter.
