How we run it
When a gorilla-only trip feels thin, Nyungwe gives a second ecology and a second story. It is a longer transfer; we only add it when the night count allows the group to arrive as guests, not as transit.
One&Only Nyungwe House is the bed we brief first. Chimpanzee tracking is a forest morning, not a gorilla substitute — different permits, different fitness, different photograph.
What is included

What we will not do
- — We will not add Nyungwe to a four-night gorilla squeeze.
- — Chimp tracking is not a consolation prize for guests who missed a gorilla family.

When should we run Nyungwe canopy and chimpanzees?
Year-round forest. Chimpanzee tracking is an early start; canopy is weather-and-mist. Lead time: 10–14 months when paired with gorilla permits in the same programme. Duration on the ground: 1–2 nights.
