Kigali city and Genocide Memorial

Kigali Genocide Memorial at Gisozi, handled with care: a professional guide, no forced emotion, a private rather than public visit when the group is a leadership team. Optional. Some clients ask; some do not.

How we run it

We follow the brief. If the client wants the Memorial, we book a guide who has done corporate groups, allow silence, and do not put a gala the same evening. If they do not want it, we do not insert it as ‘culture’.

A city loop — Inema, a market, a working Kigali — can sit without the Memorial. Nyamata and Murambi are more direct sites; we only add them when the client has asked in writing.

What is included

• — Named guide and a timed Memorial visit when requested
• — Dress and conduct brief in the welcome note
• — A city alternative (arts, coffee, convention-centre geography) if the Memorial is not in the brief

What we will not do

• — Never theatrical. Never a photo call at the graves.
• — No celebration dinner the same night as a Memorial morning unless the client insists — we will advise against it.
