An operable outline, not a locked rooming list. Air sectors, permits and stays are contracted against the brief. Dates and costs sit on the proposal — not on this page.

1. 

   Day 1

   Arrive MRU

   Resort check-in. No speeches. Sleep. Johannesburg evening metal and European overnights do not get a welcome show.

   Accommodation

   Shangri-La Le Touessrok, MauritiusShangri-La Le Touessrok or One&Only Le Saint Géran for banquet scale. St. Regis if the brief is the south-west.

   Logistics

   MRU to the east coast 45–75 minutes. Fast-track and luggage vans contracted. Room drops before anyone is asked to collect a lanyard.

   Meals

   Dinner at the resort. No gala.

   Planner note

   AV load-in can happen tonight. Delegates do not.

2. 

   Day 2

   Plenary

   Working morning. AV and dietary already contracted. Afternoon lagoon or spa split. Closed evening.

   Logistics

   Plenary rooms the hotel has run at this headcount. Translation booths if the brief named them. Breakouts on the same floor where possible.

   Meals

   Breakfast, working lunch, dinner at the house.

   Planner note

   Safari camps cannot host this day. That is why the trip is on Mauritius.

3. 

   Day 3

   Golf and accompanying programme

   Shotgun start plus a parallel catamaran so non-golfers are not ‘the other group’.

   Logistics

   Tee times and caddies contracted. Non-golfers on the same dietary and medical form as the golfers. Boats exclusive-use, not a ticketed cruise.

   Meals

   Breakfast. Field lunch. Dinner at the resort.

   Accompanying persons are programmed, not parked at the pool with a voucher.

4. 

   Day 4

   Exclusive-use boats and gala

   Tide and wind plan. Indoor backup in summer cyclone season. Gala the hotel team has run before.

   Logistics

   Leeward beach or ballroom named as backup November–April. Production load-in the afternoon the plenary ended, not an hour before doors.

   Meals

   Breakfast. Light lunch. Gala dinner.

   Do not put the gala on landing night or on the golf night if the list is already cooked.

5. 

   Day 5

   Le Morne or at leisure

   UNESCO landscape optional for a photograph that is not only a lagoon. Or a still day at the house. No new plenary.

   Shangri-La Le Touessrok, MauritiusSame resort, or a day trip to the south-west.

   Logistics

   East coast to Le Morne about 1.5–2 hours. Graded walk optional. Not a forced hike for a 200-person dealer list.

   Meals

   All meals at the resort unless a field lunch is contracted.

   Planner note

   This day exists so the gala is not the night before every long-haul.

6. 

   Day 6

   Depart MRU

   International departures. Staggered transfers if the metal is a mix of Johannesburg, Paris and Dubai.

   Logistics

   Resort to MRU 45–75 minutes. Group check-in where the airline will honour it.

   Meals

   Breakfast.

   Planner note

   South African groups often take an evening JNB. Do not force a 06:00 lobby call on a gala night.
