Stone Town cultural tour

UNESCO Stone Town on foot: palaces, the Old Fort, Darajani as colour not a shopping brief, rooftop coffee. Freddie Mercury House only if the group asks. Heat is real; we keep it to two and a half hours.

How we run it

This is the walking product. Spice farm and dhow live on their own pages so a recovery day is not a twelve-hour collage. We use a guide who can hold a corporate group — conservation-minded, not a souvenir script.

Eighty guests means four walking groups with staggered starts, not one crocodile through a narrow street. Mobility-limited guests get a shorter circuit and a vehicle between stops.

Park Hyatt is the natural Stone Town bed. Coast hotels add a 45–70 minute transfer; we only start from Nungwi if the diary has the road time in it.

What is included

What we will not do

• — Keep it 2.5 hours. Stone Town heat is a medical note, not a toughness test.
• — Not stacked with a full spice farm and a dhow unless the night count is honest.
