Who is Prison Island tour for?
16–60 with split boats

Zanzibar · Half day from Stone Town
Changuu — Prison Island — a short crossing from Stone Town: giant tortoises, a reef snorkel for those who swim, and a history brief that is not a haunted-house script.
The island is close. The sea in between is still a channel. We book a proper boat, a shade stop with the tortoises, and a snorkel only for guests who opted in. Non-swimmers get the island and the story, not a punishment hour on the reef.
This sits naturally after a Stone Town morning if the group slept in town. From Nungwi it is a long day; we will say so. We do not run Prison Island the afternoon of a JRO–ZNZ hop.

Best in settled seas. Wind on the channel cancels or shortens the crossing — we do not argue with the skipper. Lead time: 6–10 months; giant-tortoise visits are a timed slot in peak months. Duration on the ground: Half day from Stone Town.

6 nights · 7-day outline
Kilimanjaro arrival, Serengeti or Ngorongoro, then a Zanzibar finale. The classic East Africa incentive arc: bush, then Indian Ocean recovery. Three beach nights is the professional minimum after safari.
16–80 qualifiers (split camps if over ~40)

6 nights · 7-day outline
Mara conservancy, then a full travel day to ZNZ — not a gala on the hop. Three beach nights is the professional minimum after dust. Spice and dhow on a non-arrival afternoon.
16–80 (split Mara camps)

6 nights (9 with optional Zanzibar extension) · 11-day outline
An Arusha working morning for slide-heavy content, then a Fort Ikoma hop to Mapito Safari Camp for a camp buy-out: butler service, all-inclusive private game drives, Boma dining and a closed leadership table in the two-bedroom villa. Optional three-night Kilindi Zanzibar extension on the north-west coast — fifteen pavilion suites with private plunge pools and dedicated butlers, matched to the same 8–16 leadership scale. Built for corporate travel buyers who want Marriott Bonvoy alignment and western Serengeti wildlife, with Indian Ocean recovery that is not a 200-room resort.
