How do visas and eTAs work for a multi-national guest list?

Incentive groups are rarely one nationality. The rooming list needs passport nationality, not just a name. We produce a visa and eTA matrix per programme covering every country you actually enter — Tanzania (including Zanzibar), Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Ethiopia, Seychelles and Mauritius — and we update it if a government portal changes.

Kenya’s eTA, Tanzania’s e-visa or visa on arrival, Rwanda’s entry system, Uganda’s requirements and Ethiopia’s e-Visa all have their own lead times. We do not want guests applying on the airport Wi-Fi in Nairobi, Kilimanjaro, Kigali, Entebbe or Addis. For Tanzania and Zanzibar programmes, pair immigration steps with the correct NIC or ZIC inbound insurance portal based on first point of entry — see Tanzania mandatory inbound travel insurance. Zanzibar is Tanzania for immigration purposes but still gets its own briefing: dress in Stone Town, Friday patterns, a yellow fever certificate on arrival, and the correct inbound insurance certificate for the arrival route.

Seychelles is visa-free or visa-on-arrival for a wide list of passports; Mauritius is visa-free for many core source markets. That is still not a reason to skip the pack. Multi-country trips (safari then Seychelles, Ethiopia then Mauritius, Kenya then Tanzania) need the matrix to show the sequence, not eight separate PDFs.
