This page is the Ethiopia retreats brief — an environment-led EXCO offsite after an Addis sleep, not an Addis meetings page, not an Ethiopia incentive file, and not a safari substitute. Addis sits near 2,400 metres. Both the still table and any highland chapter start after that first night.
Kuriftu is the lake off-site an hour from ADD. Limalimo is Simien for 8–24 who can walk or who will take the viewpoint without a punishment bus.
Churches need modest dress. Galas stay at the lodge. Danakil is a specialist annex, not the EXCO default.
Addis nights, whether the table sits at Bishoftu or a highland chapter follows, and whether the list is 8–24 EXCO-scale drive the brief. We do not publish website rates. Send headcount, dates and whether the offsite stays at the lake or adds Lalibela or Simien on the RFP form.

Constraints
Access
Scheduled domestic flights (Ethiopian Airlines) link ADD to Lalibela, Gondar, Bahir Dar, Dire Dawa and other towns. We do not drive Addis–Lalibela with a jet-lagged incentive group. Simien is road from Gondar (about 2.5–3.5 hours) or a mix of air plus road. Helicopters can be arranged for ultra-high-end groups when weather allows.

Altitude first: a quiet Addis night, a working morning or origin coffee, then Lalibela’s rock-hewn churches and a Simien escarpment chapter at Limalimo. We fly domestic sectors. We do not drive Addis–Lalibela with a jet-lagged group, and we never walk Simien on landing day.
