Executive retreats in Uganda

Uganda leadership retreats: Kampala or lake night, then Bwindi or Queen Elizabeth. Permits and fitness collected together. Lodges are small — that is the point.

Can we run executive retreats in Uganda?

Clouds and Sanctuary set the tone. Kyambura for a savanna counterweight. Kidepo for emptiness and extra air — director-scale only.

Jinja is opt-in adventure, not a surprise rafting morning for a medical-limited guest.

Constraints

What we will not do

  • A six-hour steep trek as a surprise.
  • Kidepo as a day-return from Entebbe.
  • Conference AV assumed in a forest camp.

Access

How groups arrive

Scheduled and charter flights to Kihihi, Kisoro, Kasese and Kidepo save punishing road days. We still use the road when the scenery is the point (crater lakes) and the group is not time-poor. Helicopter is available for buy-out groups.

EBB

Entebbe International

Only practical international gateway; 40–90 minutes to Kampala hotels, traffic dependent; 25–40 minutes to Speke Munyonyo and Lake Victoria Serena

Questions planners ask about executive retreats in Uganda

Can we run an EXCO retreat in Uganda?

Yes: one working session in Kampala, one forest or savanna peak, a group that is not exhausted on the last morning.

How many people can stay together in Bwindi?

Lodge clusters are small. We split rather than oversell. Forty people is not one sitting-room.

Kampala meeting then same-day trek?

No. Fly or drive west, sleep, trek. Landing-day forest is how the retreat fails.

Do we need yellow fever certificates for Uganda?

Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda and Zanzibar require a yellow fever vaccination certificate upon arrival. We collect it with passports on the rooming list — do not leave it to the airport queue.
